Some diners mention that despite the overall excellence, certain busy hours can lead to slightly longer waiting times due to high foot traffic. Few diners have pointed out that the paid parking lot could be a minor inconvenience, especially during peak shopping times. While most appreciate the homely decor, a handful of customers expressed a desire for a more modern aesthetic. Overall, the cons are minor compared to the cafe's many strengths, but they do provide room for enhancement.
Me and my family absolutely love this cafe. We enjoyed it when the previous owners had it, but since the new owners have taken over, it's really taken it to the next level. All the staff are so friendly, the food is amazing (especially the homemade quiche) and it's always a great atmosphere.
Well, this has to be the best breakfast I have had in a long time. What a wonderful place! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, you will really find it hard to get anything better anywhere. The food is cooked to perfection. 👌 It does help when you are served with a smile. Thank you; you made my day! :)
My partner and I visited for lunch today. I got a ham and cheese toastie with chips, my partner got scouse, we had a pot of tea for two. Really friendly staff, super speedy service. Food was hot and delicious with generous portions. 😊
Real pleasure. Greeting is wonderful as one enters, with smiles and offers to help immediately. Young daughter was persuaded to try Scouse and couldn't speak as she devoured it all without stopping. So pleased to know such personal and friendly cafés are managing to stay open and offer a much better choice than the nearby fast food outlets.
Very pleased with the service and attention to customer requests. The meal was new for me and the selection on the menu is varied. I would definitely visit again.
